There is something about autumn here...
...something special in the air that I look forward to all year.
Colors so intense they wrap you in their warmth.
Sounds so crisp...
...words cannot describe
Velvety, black crows call each other from the trees...
...and katydids announce the coming of winter.
But for now, there is still time.
Time to walk the same paths generations of my family have walked before me...
and enjoy the beauty of one more season...
...and the bounty of God's blessings.

It is like coming home again each time you show pictures of the woods and sky of my beautiful North Carolina mountains. It does make me miss them so much and I can't help hearing John Denver's voice singing, "take me home where I belong." This Tennessee valley we live in surrounded by tall ridges is the next best thing but I do long for those mountains.

Especially when I am blessed to spend a few days in your area of the country...which we did this year!!! A whole week of the above!!!! What a wonderful time!!!!! What an amazing Designer our Creator is!!!!!!! So glad you shared with us!!!!!
