Apples for Autumn...

It is "Tablescape Thursday" again over at "Between Naps on the Porch," and I am thankful to Susan for hosting this wonderful event!

Today, you are getting two for one! I wanted to share a beautiful tablescape my mom did with her Franciscan "Apple," and one I did with a fruit pattern by Sakura called "Sonoma."

Here we go with mine...You might notice I always have the table bare. I really like to see the wood  because it is so rustic and warm. We do actually use our tablescapes. I generally will do one, and we use that dinnerware for the week.

There you have two different apple-themed settings!

Next week I have a huge treat as my mom and I are doing a table for a festival that promises to be fabulous! I am so excited about doing it with her and also excited about seeing the other tablescapes. I promise lots of photos and a lot of bling!

Thanks for stopping by:-)  Anita

  1. YUM Anita! Your Fall tablescapes are just gorgeous... Your Mother's emerald green stemware is so beautiful, it really puts a shot of color in there doesn't it? And yours is so inspiring to me... I was stumped as to my tablesetting for the holiday, but now I have direction! Thank you so much.

Have a great rest of the week

They are both so beautiful, love all the dishes, just love the dishes, the fall settings really take advantage of how beautiful they really are.

So pretty -- both of them! My mother had the same dishes as your mother -- but with 4 kids...they didn't fare very well -- lots of chips! Love your dishes too -- I'll look forward to your tablescape next week as well! Thanks for your visit.

  8. "Oh WOW"....as each photo opened, I kept saying "Oh WOW!!"
They just got better & better. It must be genetic, this artistic talent to compose & create beautiful spaces, because you've BOTH got the touch.

I ♥ the green stemware with the apple dishes. It brings out the colors so well.

Your wood showing through is just as glowing & warm looking.

Thank you so much for sharing these photos of both tables. Two for One!! :-)

Both of them are very pretty! I don't blame you for not using a tablecloth ~ your table is wonderful. I don't know if the napkin ring would still fit, but I'm sure I've seen where the silverware has been put into the napkin and then the napkin ring holds it all together.

  12. I'm envious, I wish my daughter lived close enough that we could do a table together. I think both of the tables look amazing. Obviously your mother has a great eye, it is also obvious that you have picked it up quite well. Sue

Both table settings are just gorgeous. It comes easy to your Mother because she has been doing it a lot longer. I love the green glasses on hers. Both of you are very talented....Kim
