Exodus 24:15-18
15. Then Moses climbed up the mountain, and the cloud covered it.
16. And the glory of the LORD settled down on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day the LORD called to Moses from inside the cloud.
17. To the Israelites at the foot of the mountain, the glory of the LORD appeared at the summit like a consuming fire.
18. Then Moses disappeared into the cloud as he climbed higher up the mountain. He remained on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
I was amazed to see this as I drove home from teaching a piano lesson this afternoon. The glory of the Lord is amazing and so much bigger than we can ever imagine:-)

Oh, I just love it when a new post from someone pops up right as I sit down to the computer! Especially one as wonderful as this! I can't ever look at the sky (in any kind of weather) without being astonished at God's creation! Would you please consider using this post to join my "Inspiration Friday" party? I think it would just be perfect! Thanks!

ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. I always admire the sky and talk to Jemma about it and how great our God is to create everything we see. One day as we were driving to Tennessee, we experienced the most amazing sky with the sun setting and these billowing clouds. We commented on it and Jemma said, "God is the best artist ever!" Amen!!!
