Ok, I'm stretching it a little, but it really is my new music "room."
It was an unexpected and pleasant surprise when planning for an outdoor BBQ at our house with members of my choir.
My dining table was here, but everyone comes in and out this door for some reason, and it is so large, it really impeded traffic flow. I moved everything around in the living areas, and ended up with the piano here, and I could not love it more. It actually gave us more space all around, and I got a lovely space to work and practice. Trust me, with all five of us in this small house, a little space like this is invaluable. I'm already enjoying using it more, and that's a good thing because I'm in the middle of writing and finishing up Christmas music.
I'm always so jealous envious when people show their offices, craft/sewing rooms, music rooms, etc., and even though this is open to the other areas, it really is finally my music room...
...and you will find me right here:-)

I love it! I can almost hear your beautiful music and voice coming through. So, where did you put the table? You will have to show us!

I think it is a grand music room! Love the chandelier over the piano! THAT piece is perfect together!
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing to me. How fun to have a whole room devoted just to music.
ReplyDeleteWonderful. You really should play for us.
ReplyDeleteOh my word, it really is fabulous and a chandy too. I love your piano and am so thrilled you have a space called your own. Gorgeous. Thanks tons for linking to Inspire Me. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to remember where it stood before in relation to where it is now. It does look beautiful with all the space around it now. It is fun to move things around but I bet you won't be shifting a piano around every day! My husband told me he would never move my piano or books to another house (too many moves in our earlier days!).
ReplyDeleteIt just looks perfect there, Anita. I love it. (Will any new songs be available itunes?)
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, we talk about it all the time, then get so busy with the music we are doing weekly, we get behind. I sure hope so though, so I'll let you know if we do:-) Had wanted to do a Christmas CD, but we still might get a few songs out...
