Sweet Saint Patrick's Day flowers for Balsam Mountain Preserve

I had the opportunity to add a little Irish flair at Balsam Mountain Preserve's Boarding House for the Saint Patrick's Day dinner tomorrow night.

Because there is not a lot of room on the tables, I like to keep things small.

I used the green Mason jars my mom bought for me and simply picked flowers in three colors.

I love the added pop of the green mums and how the pinks and white really accent the green. Here's a tip -- I *always* put rings on my Mason jars because I just cannot stand for them to be naked. They always look unfinished without the rings or at least ribbon, twine or something around that top edge.

This is such a pretty place, and I like how the Mason jars and simple arrangements play up the rustic feel.

Sweet flowers for a beautiful place!

So -- do you celebrate Saint Patrick's Day?

I'll be joining:
Tablescape Thursday
Metamorphosis Monday
Inspire Me Tuesday
Wow Us Wednesdays

Love the green mason jars for St. Patrick's day. Funny you mention about the rings. I have one green mason jar in my living room with pink and green flowers without the ring, so I put it on just now and yes, I like it better too:).
Have a beautiful day, Kathleen in Az

    1. Funny, funny! I don't know what it is, but they feel "naked" without them to me, ha:-)

  • Beautiful flower arrangements, Anita! I have some of those green Mason jars, too; I need to dig them out. :D The Balsam Mountain Preserve is really a lovely place. I bet you have fun decorating there.

    Have a great weekend!

Anita, you always do such a beautiful job! Your arrangements are beautiful! I also picked up a copy of Porches and Gardens magazine at the store the other day. I immediately recognized your porch with the Whispering Pines sign! So pretty!
