I always enjoy seeing inside your home, and how you make regular changes to the decor but always keep your same style. I like all the textures and colors and layers. I noticed something new in the post that I'm really interested in and it may seem funny to you. I really like the backsplash behind your sink, under the window. The neutral tiles are so pretty, and colorful in their own way. I'm going to "pin" this picture so that when I can finally afford to replace my unlovely, very pinkish ceramic tile in my kitchen and bath, I want to use your very pretty tile.

Wow Lisa, thank you so much for those kind words!! Funny about the backsplash because I love that tile but they did not have enough of it and I looked at every Lowes and online. My plan was to just use it as a border and add in the plain larger tiles to make it stretch but never got around to it. I still like that tile but can’t get any more. There are similar ones but not exact. There’s a post where I talked about it I’ll find and link for you later🙂

Thank you, I just think it's so pretty. It's neutral, but really has a lot of color in it when you look closely.

I love the new painted look and if it were me, would do the lower cabinets also. The white makes all of your colorful possessions stand out so beautifully. No, not high end, but highly stylish.

I love the light upper cabinets and the darker lower cabinets. I think it really works in your kitchen and I am hoping it will work in mine also. I can't have open shelves, but I love the look. Some high end kitchens are so sterile and institutional and have no soul.

Love it Anita! Your colors are so festive and everything works perfect together! Thank you for taking the time to blog, one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much for that encouragement Vicki!! It seems no one visits the blog so knowing you come by means so much!!
DeleteI enjoy your blog as well! Remember I'm the one who copied your cutting board hanger (on side of island) idea! Love the festive colors. Are those Pyrex bowls on the top shelf? Love them!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!! Yes I do:-) Yes those are Pyrex, and the blue one was my mother's. I use them quite a bit and wanted them handy.
