I also love the table in the kitchen. When you took out the island, were there gaps in the floors where it was located? The floors appear so unharmed, I wondered how that was possible.Pat M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/14523366670264489398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-86840151648374849.post-44570985006268091392019-03-06T07:06:32.908-08:002019-03-06T07:06:32.908-08:00Thanks so much!! You have such a talent for pulling things together and making them look beautiful. I love that you use treasured family pieces, thrift store finds, craigslist, etc. I think that is what "blogs" should all be about, what you can do with what you have and find. Thanks for sharing your beautiful kitchen. kathrynbellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14716928240683771386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-86840151648374849.post-63072455462615086322019-03-05T19:45:26.129-08:002019-03-05T19:45:26.129-08:00I like the fixture both with and without shades, b...I like the fixture both with and without shades, but I am leaning towards "with"...it kind of beefs up<br />the fixture.LEftinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15527236701579489961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-86840151648374849.post-36263474095550140682019-03-05T16:53:52.461-08:002019-03-05T16:53:52.461-08:00Well good for you, we have a similar problem, we h...Well good for you, we have a similar problem, we have a iron pot rack to move and a chandelier, We were gifted with a beautiful reclaimed table that a friend made for us, from wood from a old share cropper;s cabin on their property...I a wood island that we had slanted and then put the iron pan rack above it.....now we have to move it...and a new chandelier...now I can see it will be costly!!!
