When we made our wormy chestnut countertops last summer, I fell in love with the perfect mixed mosaic glass and stone tiles for the backsplash at Lowes.

The antique organ and the flea market brass lamp
While I realize most people are not decorating around an 1886 organ, it does provide a sort of "sideboard" space when closed, and most all of us can relate to that.

Hot Pink in the Spring Living Room

In the meantime, I have been warming things up in the living room with hot pink and the gold/brass that I showed in yesterday's post.
