My grandmother's lilacs are in bloom so I put together a tablescape with vintage china that has been in my great grandmother's china cabinet for at least 50-70 years.
These darling cups are from post-war Japan.
My mother has repeatedly
asked begged me to polish this creamer and sugar, and I will because I know tarnish is bad for silver, even if it's the "in" thing.
The chocolate pot set was gifted several years ago from a family member, and the pretty pastel colors were just perfect for this table.
My great grandmother's cruet set is the centerpiece of this vintage table.
There are three different kinds of plates in this set which is believed to have been a "gift" with flour sacks at the old Knight's Store here. The plates are porcelain with no markings, but my mother was told they could be "Cone Premium."
I used burlap to anchor everything with battenburg lace placemats and a lace runner together with antique sterling and silver plated chargers.
Thanks for stopping by:-) I always appreciate your visits.
